Ben and Carrie Woolverton combined ranching operations and family ties with their marriage in March 2007.
Ben is the proprietor of Woolverton Cattle Ranches, Est. 1975, and is well-known for his quality beef cattle and sales of farming, gardening, ranching and agriculture equipment in the Kaufman, Henderson and Van Zandt County areas. When one hears the Woolverton name, one knows that quality is the product offered.
Carrie is the proprietor of Honey Creek Farms, Est. 1987, producing Arabian, Half-Arabian, Palomino and Quarab Horses, performance plus individuals, with an emphasis on Early American Foundation bloodlines. Carrie is a founding board member of the American Foundation Arabian Horse Association and the Texas Foundation Arabian Horse Association. These groups focus on preservation and promotion of the bloodlines of purebred Arabian horses found in the United States for over 100 years.
Carrie also founded the Pulque++ Preservation Program to rejuvenate the bloodline of the famous Donoghue-bred Arabian, Pulque++, who was known for his charming demeanor, extreme versatility, athletic prowess and exotic coloring. One of the stallions standing at Honey Creek Farms is the only Pulque sireline grandson available in the world, BT Sun Dancer.
Together, Ben and Carrie own and operate Triple Cross Ranches, producing beef cattle, Australian Shepherd dogs and quality Arabian performance horses of Early American Foundation bloodlines.
